Amy Weston is a co-founder and partner at Weston & Liese, a forward-thinking, technology-enabled law firm built for the way modern businesses actually operate. With nearly two decades of experience, Amy advises companies on commercial contracts, complex technology transactions, corporate governance, privacy and compliance matters, and strategic business transactions including financings and M&A. As an IAPP CIPP/US-certified privacy professional, she also counsels clients on data privacy, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance.

Amy’s practice is centered on advising high-growth technology companies across a wide range of industries, including health tech, ed tech, property tech, ad tech, and SaaS businesses. She works with clients ranging from early-stage startups to well-capitalized emerging companies preparing for their next phase of growth.

She regularly counsels companies on privacy law developments, data collection practices, and compliance strategies, including drafting and advising on privacy notices, terms of use, and related documentation. Amy partners closely with founders and executive teams throughout Seattle, Silicon Valley, Boston, and beyond, supporting a client base that is national and international in scope.

Amy began her legal career at a prominent Boston law firm before spending a decade at a boutique Boston practice. She later served as a partner at two established Seattle law firms prior to co-founding Weston & Liese.

Outside the office, Amy lives in Seattle with her husband and two teenagers.

She is an avid rower and a proud supporter of Green Lake Crew, where she cheers on her children at regattas and competes from time to time herself.
